    I'll mention the names of all the softwares and widgets I've used. I'll try a post a complete guide to creating such a desktop soon.

    First up this is Ubuntu 9.10 (neither Windows, nor Mac). You can download Ubuntu from here: http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/download

    1. Screenlets (Very very useful thing! Its very easy to install. This is the official site: http://www.screenlets.org)

    2. Avant Windows Navigator (Open source dock replicating the Mac dock)
